Louise Jones (née Chen) aka Ouizi, was born and raised in Santa Monica, CA to Shanghainese parents. She is best known for her large scale floral mural installations which can be seen in public spaces throughout the United States, from museums to public parks.

The murals often depict site-specific plants and animals, and the techniques are uniquely informed by her education in drawing and printmaking.

Her affinity towards botanical subjects continues to grow, stemming from an early introduction to Georgia O’Keeffe and fond memories of picking figs with her grandmother. She currently lives and works in Detroit.

Ellie Cashman

Wallpaper Artist

Artist Ellie Cashman creates original works of art for wallpaper, wall deco and home textiles.

Born in the US (Providence, RI), and with a Master of Fine Arts from New York University (2005), Ellie expatriated to the Netherlands in 2007, where she has been deeply influenced by the still life painters of the Dutch Golden Age.

Ellie says: "I created Ellie Cashman Design in 2013, after my original Dark Floral wallpaper went viral on Pinterest. Since then, I have added fabric, cushions and silk scarves to my product line. Tying it all together is my personal take on the floral print.

To create my large-scale prints, I alternate between traditional and digital art media. From start to finish, a design usually takes me about 6 months to a year.

My floral wallpapers celebrate nature in the peak of its glory.

It is this feeling of awe and reverence, this experience of beauty and harmony that I want to introduce into my customers' surroundings, daily lives and experiences. I believe that being in the presence of beauty awakens our creativity and courage, invigorates us, and makes the impossible seem possible.

Behind each Ellie Cashman design is a time-consuming artistic process aimed at creating prints that are beautiful and eye-catching, emotionally affecting, skillfully rendered and produced using only the finest quality materials.

Aside from her work, Ellie loves to spend time with her 3 kids, her Dutch husband, her friends and family, loves to read, write, run, bike, paddleboard and yoga, and to be by the ocean - especially during sunrise or sunset - and marvel at the beauty of nature during long walks with her golden retriever, Tessa.
